1. First off, I start with this base of Sohee from the Wonder Girls. For this icon, it's best to choose an image with a plain, light background or you can simply erase the background yourself. Set this layer to 100% Darken.

2. Now add this beautiful texture by bambinainnero in a new layer underneath the Sohee base.

3. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color (move this layer between the two you currently have) and use these settings to give the icon a pinkish shade:

Neutral: -45, +45, +50, 0

4. Add a new layer directly underneath the Sohee base. Take a 100px soft brush #C8BDA5 and put a dot right behind Sohee. set this layer to 100% Screen. It just creates a mini aura of light behind her.

5. Now what I need is some awesome lighting. Take this texture by hellodarliing and paste it all the way at the top of the layer palette. Set this layer to 100% Screen. Erase the parts that cover her face.

6. Press Ctrl + B to change that layer's color balance. Use these settings:

+100, 0, -100

7. Merge all visible layers (Shift + Ctrl + E). Duplicate this layer with Ctrl + J and set it to 50% Soft Light. Add some tiny text at the top and merge all layers again. Finished. =)
