A large JPG file can be troublesome if you don't want slow loading times or if forum signatures have file size limits. Here's a quick
and easy way to lower the file size without dramatically decreasing image quality.
1. Open up your image file. Go to File > Save As and name the image however you want (make sure it is JPG, though), then save it.
2. Next there will be a popup. This is where you adjust the file size. Next to quality, you will see a number between 1 and 12, with 12
being the highest quality. At the bottom, where it says size, is the APPROXIMATE file size the image is going to be. Note that it may
actually be slightly higher or lower than the actual size.
3. You can check the actual file size by locating the image on your computer, right-clicking the file, and select Properties.
